TVC Testing

Total Viable Count

 (also called TVC, TVAC, bioburden, Bacteria, Yeast and Mould count)

Routine quality control testing is a regulatory requirement.  We offer testing to the latest European Pharmacopoeia methods (harmonised with the BP, USP & JP).

This test determines the total number of bacteria, yeasts and moulds in your product and is often performed in conjunction with a test for specified micro-organisms (E coli, Staph aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa etc.) as part of the microbial limits test.

Should you need, we are also able to perform testing to your own test methods.
